BENEFITS OF VENUE
The Elgin High School Sports Centre is a brand new, opened in 2017, state-of-the-art facility that is the perfect home for the Moray Mavericks Basketball Club.
The gym we will be using boasts a brand new full sized adult court, but also 4 cross court junior courts, all with adjustable height rims. The facility is fully disability accessible and usable, with fantastic new changing room and showers.
The Sports Centre has a very large car park to ensure space for everyone, and has a convenient drop off and waiting area just outside the gym – although parents are welcome to come and watch, or even talk to us about volunteering!
In the same building there is also a gym, so it might be a fantastic opportunity for some to go to the gym whilst partners or children are at basketball, or vice versa.
We are pleased to have secured the venue as the perfect place to grow and support the development of basketball and the players.
